Doors ("the app") is a rental property investment modelling and assessment tool, usable for any market worldwide, published by beeeye ("we," "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app on Android, iOS, or the web.
Doors has no server, no account system, and no analytics or advertising. Everything you enter into the calculator or the Profile pop-out stays on your own device and is never transmitted anywhere. The only network request the app itself ever makes is loading its interface font from Google Fonts — see "Third parties" below.
Doors is a fully client-side calculator. It has no server, no account
system, no analytics, and no advertising. Every value you enter — property
numbers, financing terms, your name/email/city if you fill in the optional
Profile pop-out — is stored only in your device's local browser storage
(localStorage/sessionStorage), directly on your
phone or computer. None of it is sent to us, to the app store, or to any
third party, at any point, under any circumstance.
Uninstalling the app, or clearing your browser's site data for it, deletes this information permanently. We have no copy of it and no way to recover it.
The Android and iOS apps request no runtime permissions (no camera, location, contacts, microphone, storage, or network access beyond loading the app's own bundled files). The app works fully offline.
The app loads no third-party scripts, trackers, advertising SDKs, or analytics of any kind. The one external network request the app ever makes — to Google Fonts, for the interface typography — happens the same way on every platform (web, Android, and iOS) whenever the device has an internet connection; without one, the interface falls back to a system font and everything else keeps working normally. That request is no different from visiting any other website that uses Google Fonts: it sends standard, automatic web-request information (such as your IP address and browser type) to Google, but never any data you type into the calculator or the Profile pop-out. We don't control what Google does with that request; see Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Doors is a financial modelling and assessment tool intended for general audiences and is not directed at children. Since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Every default figure in the app — purchase prices, rents, property tax rates, depreciation rates and rules, vacant-home tax, rent control status, and every other assumption — is an illustrative starting point only, not a representation of the law, tax code, or market conditions of any specific country, state/province, or municipality. Tax rules, rates, and terminology (including depreciation/CCA, property tax, transfer tax, and vacant-home tax) vary widely between jurisdictions and change over time; the app illustrates one common approach and does not keep pace with, or represent, current law anywhere.
You are solely responsible for verifying every figure — purchase price, rent, assessed value, property tax rate, financing terms, depreciation treatment, and any local rent-control or vacant-home-tax rules — with a qualified professional licensed in your own jurisdiction before making any real financial, tax, or investment decision. We accept no liability for decisions made using figures produced by this app.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does transmit data — we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above before that feature ships.
